The Rhode Island Wedding Group is a local group of vendors that come together to offer their services for weddings under one roof. The graphic design students of William M. Davies Career and Technical high school, were tasked to redesign their logo, following only one guide line, which was to stick to their specific light blue color.
I was inspired by what Rhode Island is best known for, being the ocean state, which lead me to combine both an anchor and wedding rings to create an iconic symbol that could be effective both as part of the logo as well as on it’s own.
